I was born and grew up in South Korea. I came to United States for my Ph.D. study in 2001. All my family members live in Korea. Visiting them once a year is my yearly wish so that my nephews and nieces remember who I am (^^). I have four nephews (ChanKyu, DongYoon, June, and DongWook) and three nieces (ChanYoung, EunJhin, and SeaJeong). I have two sisters and two brothers, and they all got married.
