ATL employees are an extremely diverse group who come from
all corners of the globe with varied backgrounds and
interests. Our backgrounds include computer science,
mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, sociology,
linguistics, music, art and anthropology. The researchers
at the ATL are leaders in their areas of expertise and a
majority hold PhD or Master's degrees. ATL researchers
contribute to the industry and state of the art through
the development of patentable technology, and their
contributions of articles and conference papers. The
constant exchange of ideas is enhanced by the ATL's highly
collaborative environment, and the regular presence of
visiting researchers and lecturers.
