I am a research scientist in the Applied Research (IP) Group ( RSS) at the Sprint Advanced Technology Labs (ATL) in Burlingame, California. I have been here since the summer of 2005. I received my M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley in 2003 and 2006 respectively. Prof. Randy H. Katz was my advisor at UC, Berkeley. Prior to that, I obtained by Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) in Chennai, India.

I am interested in problems related to computer networks especially in the areas of architecture, performance, measurements and data analysis. I am currently working on problems related to active network measurements, wireless network security and wireless network optimization.
